Immigration
For those who have not yet traveled to India all visas (valid and new applications) stand suspended till 15th April
Exceptions to above rule apply to employment and project visas and those holding diplomatic passports and UN employees:
OCI holders will not be able to travel visa-free to India till 15th April. If they require to enter India for work, they must apply for an employment visa.
Extensions and renewals of Stay visas and dependant visas will continue as usual at FRROs
Exiting India- all foreign nationals who wish to travel abroad and who are currently registered with FRRO, must check with FRRO whether they can exit and re-enter.
Mandatory quarantine: All incoming travellers including Indian nationals arriving from or having visited China, Italy, Japan, South Korea, France, Spain and Germany after 15th February 2020 will be quarantined for a minimum of 14 days, w.e.f. 13th march 2020
Possible quarantine: All incoming travellers including Indian nationals coming into India (from countries other than those mentioned above) maybe quarantined for a minimum 14 days
