Åse Löfgren Gunsten
Recipient of the 2024 Award for Outstanding Contribution to Relocation

Åse Löfgren Gunsten is the recipient of the Outstanding Contribution to Relocation award 2024 has been a trailblazer since starting in the industry in the early 1990’s.  A pioneer of destination services across her region, she was one of the first people in our industry to see the potential of collaboration between partners.  Working with a diverse portfolio of direct clients and later representing many RMC’s, as well as other DSP’s picking up many accolades along the way.

She is universally respected admired and much loved amongst EuRA members  A true servant leader, she has always put the needs of her teams and clients above her own, investing time and resources to ensure her people worked in a truly equitable environment.

As a person and a EuRA leader becoming President in 2011, her work and dedication to our industry helped to forge EuRA into the inclusive organisation it is today. 

Anne Claude Lambelet
Recipient of the 2021 Award for Outstanding Contribution to Relocation

Anne Claude pioneered relocation services in Switzerland working not just as a DSP but also as an RMC and then a consultant to the wider industry.  She was fundamental to the creation and success of SARA, the Swiss Association for Relocation.

Francine O'Byrne

Francine was given the award at the long delayed conference in Seville in recognition of her contribution to the industry in Ireland.  She was a true pioneer of services across the country and served on the EuRA Board and as President.

Ken Barron
Recipient of the 2018 EuRA Award for Exceptional Contribution to Relocation
Ken Barron

Ken joined CORT in February 2001. He is responsible for starting the CORT Global Furniture Rental Network and built the program into an 85+ country service capability, establishing CORT as a well-respected global brand within the relocation industry. He also developed a business model to present to multinational and international corporate clients and globalize an 80-year-old industry (which was started in the USA by Ken’s father, Carl Barron) and successfully created a program that operates within the three global regions, The Americas, EMEA and Asia-Pacific through two international call centers that has assisted thousands of transferees from the program’s inception and has contributed to the profitability of the parent organization.

Patrick Oman
Recipient of the 2018 EuRA Award for Exceptional Contribution to Relocation
Patrick Oman

Best advice is drawn from experience and with over five decades behind him, including the foundation, operation, growth and selling of Ireland’s largest relocation company, Patrick Oman is a pioneer in his industry.

Patrick is past president of OMNI – Global Relocation Specialists – and was one of the founding members at its inception in 1988; He is also past president of EuRA – The European Relocation Association. 

Having established Oman – Ireland’s largest moving and storage company, in 1969, and having successfully sold both Oman and irishrelo, Patrick is now helping those looking to do the same.

Patrick Oman and Associates provides consultation and advice to business owners in the moving and relocation industry in the areas of logistics, succession and strategic planning. Patrick also advises on the packing and shipping of antiques, fine art and high value goods worldwide.

He is also the father of six children and lives happily in the Irish countryside with his wife Yvonne and their family.

Peggy Love
Recipient of the 2014 EuRA Award for Exceptional Contribution to Relocation
Peggy Love

Peggy Love was our second recipient of the EuRA Award for Exceptional Contribution to Relocation and was honoured at our gala dinner in the National Museum of Scotland at our Edinburgh Conference in 2014.

Peggy was honoured by the Board as she built and managed one of the most respected US Destination Services Providers, Full Circle Relocation, now part of Dwellworks.  Peggy has such an unrivalled breadth of understanding of the issues facing families in transition.

Peggy has been involved in the global relocation industry since 1994 when she founded Full Circle International Relocations.  In 2008 she sold Full Circle to Dwellworks, created an education division of the company, and served as Managing Director until 2015 when her tenure with Dwellworks was complete. 

Peggy is a frequent speaker at global industry conferences and has been an active member of EuRA since the association’s beginning in 1999.  Peggy will continue her affiliation with EuRA as Strategic Consultant for Content. In this capacity she will work with the conference presenters to organise, oversee and manage their session development for events across the world.

Helmut Berg
Recipient of the 2012 EuRA Award for Exceptional Contribution to Relocation
Helmut Berg

Helmut Berg was the first ever recipient of the EuRA Award for Exceptional Contribution to Relocation and was honoured at our gala dinner in the amazing surroundings of the Vasa Museum in Stockholm 2012.

The Board of EuRA honoured Helmut in respect of his great dedication to the wider mobility industry.  Helmut build Germany's largest and most respected Destination Service Provider and was greatly respected by not only his teams, but his competitors.  

Helmut contributed greatly to the industry through his work with the Worldwide Employee Relocation Council and as a Board Member of EuRA.  In 2009 Helmut was elected as President of EuRA and during his three year term he raised the profile of the organisation through his ceaseless promotion of EuRA and his loyalty to the industry. 

Helmut was instrumental in the launch of the EuRA Global Quality Seal, an independently certified audit process that is approaching it's 10th anniversary. During this time the EGQS has become recognised globally as a benchmark in quality for relocation providers.  Helmut also developed and implemented the EuRA Index, now in its 6th year, initially tracking the health of our industry in Europe but now extended globally.  Helmut continues to analyse the results each month and every report is online - click here.
