If you want to walk, from the Haynes Center it's about a 25 minute stroll down Boylston Street to the end of Boston Common, then turn right onto Tremont Street and the hotel is two blocks along just past the W Hotel.

It's 10 minutes in an Uber!

The entrance to the Empire Ballroom is up a few steps just across the lobby.
